Minimum stay is four nights. Less than full
week rentals are available with adjusted weekly rates. Actual
rates are subject to change and vary slightly by number of occupants

Terms
and Conditions:
- Binding Agreement:
By making your reservation with deposit you will be creating
a binding agreement to rent/lease Margaritas and are subject
to these Terms and Conditions.
- Restrictions: Margaritas does
not allow pets and is a non-smoking home. Club membership
and privileges are included in rentals.

Terms & Conditions of Rental
- INTRODUCTORY
North Captiva Island Club has established a public lodging operation
for short-term resort rentals under Chapter 509 of the Florida
Statutes. The Club represents homeowners that are registered
in its vacation rental program.
- SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSITS
The guests agree to put up a credit card authorization upon check
in to guarantee that if any damages or hardships from guests'
use of the accommodations arise other than normal wear and tear,
they will be fully responsible for the expenses incurred by the
club in such a situation. If a golf cart is included in the rental
of the accommodations, then the guest will be fully responsible
for the return of the golf cart as it was turned over to the
guest, except for normal wear from the operation of the golf
cart. The guest who makes the arrangements for such rentals and
or signs the check-in form shall be fully responsible for any
of the other parties involved in this reservation.
- Please be sure to check date of arrival, departure and rent
due for accuracy. Silence denotes acceptance.
- OCCUPANCY
Occupancy is restricted to the stated limit for each property.
Please do not over-occupy the accommodation. The guests agree
to register all people in their party in advance and agree that
they will be in default of this agreement if they have more guests
in the accommodation than the accommodations will allow. We will
rent only to family groups, married couples, and responsible
adults over the age of 21. Violations of the above limitations
on renters will be grounds for immediate eviction without refund
of rent or deposit.
- ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED
If a pet or evidence of a pet is found on the premises, the result
will be forfeiture of entire rent & deposit and immediate
guest eviction.
- DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT
Upon making your reservation 25% of the full rental payment shall
be due. Balance of rental payment shall be due two weeks prior
to check in. A $500 credit card authorization shall be held on
each rental booked for possible damages or incidental charges.
If there are any charges incurred after checkout from damages
or incidental charges, then these charges may be applied to the
credit card on file. Included in your rental rate quoted on your
confirmation letter shall be the cleaning charge, guest fee,
linen charge and cart maintenance use fee. These charges may
change due to the amount of people in your party or the amount
of days you may stay.
- CHECK-IN
The guests agree that the Club does not guarantee occupancy of
such accommodations until 4:00 pm on the day of check in, and
the guests agree that checkout time is 10:00am. If the guests
request a late check out, the Club may charge the guests an extra
day's rental rate, but the Club reserves the right to deny a
late checkout request if it does not fit into the Club's housekeeping
schedule.
- CANCELLATIONS / EARLY CHECKOUT/
DATE CHANGES OR UNIT CHANGES
Sorry, NO REFUNDS for early departure. Rentals of 15 days or
longer require a 90 day notice of cancellation or date change.
Failure to give 90 day notice for these rentals will result in
forfeiture of the deposit (25% or more of total rent). If guests
elect to cancel a reservation of less than 15 days, there shall
be no refund unless such cancellation occurs more than 60 days
prior to scheduled stay for seasonal rentals and more than 14
days in advance for off season rentals. There will always be
a $47 cancellation penalty or 3% of the gross rental amount charged
(whichever is greater) for all reservations cancelled closer
to the rental date than 90, 60, or 14 days respectively.
- Reimbursement for hurricanes will ONLY be given under mandatory
evacuation ordered by county officials.
- Date changes (excluding adding days to your stay) or Unit
changes must be received 30 days prior to the reservation for
your deposit to be transferred. If less than 30 days notice is
given, the deposit (25% of total rent) will be forfeited.
- GOLF CART USE/ABUSE
The guests understand if there is a golf cart included in the
rental, that the drivers must be 16 or older, and guests must
not abuse the golf cart. If the Club sees the guests abusing
the golf cart, the Club reserves the right to take the cart away
from the guest with no refund due. The guests shall be bound
to the terms of the golf cart rental agreement.
- LINENS AND THINGS
A housekeeping supply package will be included in your rental
which will include ample supplies for one week. Please see What
is Included and What is Not Included. Any additional supplies
must be purchased. They may be bought at our ship's store above
the front desk. Cleaning of the unit will be included in your
rental fee.
Specifically, our housekeepers will strip and remake the beds,
replace linens, vacuum, dust, clean the bathrooms, mop all floors,
clean all kitchen appliances, clean inside kitchen drawers and
outside kitchen cabinets, slider doors, and deck furniture, sweep
decks and stairs and clean Jacuzzi tubs (on an as-needed basis).
If the unit is exceptionally dirty, there may be additional charges
for cleanup deducted from your deposit.
- ACCOMMODATIONS
The Club shall not guarantee any specific accommodation due to
any unforeseen incidents, but will make every effort possible
to contact the guests if any unforeseen incidents arise, and
will try it's best to offer the guests equal or better accommodations
if such unforeseen incidents may occur.
It is in the Club's best interest to make sure it's guests have
a memorable vacation, and the club will do its best to make sure
this happens.
- SALES
Some of our rental properties are for sale. If the unit you are
renting is for sale, we may need to show it to a prospective
purchaser during your stay. In this circumstance we will make
every effort to schedule a time that is convenient for you in
order not to interrupt your vacation.
- OUTDOOR GRILLS
Outdoor grills are prohibited on decks, porches, balconies of
condos or homes. The exception is that grills are permitted on
ground level decks.
- MAINTENANCE
The Club makes a good-faith effort to offer a high quality standard
for the offering of such accommodations, and will make every
effort in its power to make sure such accommodations represented
to our guests are in top condition. Due to the nature of the
business, we can not guarantee that items will not break from
normal wear and tear. Through its support services, the club
will attempt to correct in a reasonable time period any defects
as they may occur. In case of a problem please call 239-395-1096
(Housekeeping/ Maintenance) to report it. We cannot guarantee
the operation of air conditioners, televisions, appliances and
so forth. NO REFUND OR RATE ADJUSTMENT will be made for mechanical
failures.
- TELEPHONES
Telephones are furnished in all rental units for your convenience
for local calls. Long distance and directory assistance calls
must be made collect, or charged to your personal phone or credit
card.
- TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM NORTH
CAPTIVA ISLAND
The guests agree to make all transportation arrangements on their
own and to be responsible for payment of fees for these transportation
arrangements. The Club will handle all luggage from our dock
to your vacation home, but may charge extra for arrivals after
6:00pm if the club incurs extra costs. Extra costs will be $35
for all assisted arrivals after 8pm. Guests must notify of late
arrivals prior to 4:30 closing that day.

Telephones
If a telephone develops problems, the Club will do its best to
make timely repairs, but due to the fact that these rental units
are on an island, repair may take up to 7 days. NO REFUND OR
RATE ADJUSTMENT.
Satellite Reception
In the same manner, satellite reception on the unit's television
may not always be available. There are many possible reasons
for this failure of reception. This situation should be a short-term
inconvenience only. NO REFUND OR RATE ADJUSTMENT
Bug Free Rental
While the Club retains the services of a pest control technician
as needed, due to the nature of the island climate, it is not
possible to guarantee a total absence of any insects in a rental
unit.
Construction Nearby
If there is construction nearby the home and the noise from this
construction is offensive, we will try to move you if you desire,
but can not guarantee a move will be possible. NO REFUND OR RATE
ADJUSTMENT.
Maintenance
We cannot guarantee the operation of air conditioners, televisions,
appliances and so forth. NO REFUND OR RATE ADJUSTMENT will be
made for mechanical failures.
- NCIC RESERVES THE RIGHT
North Captiva Island Club reserves the right as a public lodging
establishment, public food service establishment, and a privately
owned enterprise, to refuse accommodations or service to any
person that is objectionable or undesirable to the Club, but
such refusal may not be based upon race, creed, color, sex, physical
disability, or national origin.
- GUESTS AGREE
The guests agree to protect, defend, indemnify and hold the Club
and the homeowner harmless for any liabilities for damages and/or
personal injury arising out of the use of the club's facilities,
home owners' rental property or Club golf cart.
